Kristen Stewart Vs. Herself: Celebs Pick MTV Movie Awards’ Best Kiss

Robert Pattinson or Taylor Lautner? Before Sunday’s show, we ask which smooch should come out on top.

Kristen Stewart got to lock lips with both Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson in “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” and it seems like all the — cough, cough — hard work paid off: Both smooches are up for Best Kiss at Sunday’s 2011 MTV Movie Awards.

We went straight to Stewart’s fellow celebs to ask: Which lip-lock should come out on top?

“Vampire Diaries” star Kat Graham knows a thing or two about hot supernatural guys, and she has a very strong opinion about which kiss rules in “Eclipse”: “I love Taylor Lautner,” she gushed. “He could be making out with a hamburger, and I would be like, ‘Best kiss ever!’ ”

Olympian Johnny Weir also seems to be a member of Team Jacob. “Taylor Lautner in that movie was, you know, rocking the sex,” he exclaimed, most likely referencing Lautner’s ever-present abs in the franchise.

“X-Men: First Class” actress Rose Byrne is leaning toward Team Edward when it comes to the kisses, even calling out Pattinson’s fan-favorite nickname: “I think it will be RPattz.”

Elle Fanning, whose sister Dakota stars in the “Twilight” flicks, concurred with Byrne, reasoning that Stewart’s Bella is “marrying Edward, so you sort of have to pick Edward.”

“X-Men” hottie Michael Fassbender might not know Edward from Jacob, but he did pick one of the actors over the other. “I’m just going to go with Robert,” he said.

Hilary Duff kept it right in the middle with her choice. “You’re really going for all the tough questions, aren’t you?” she teased. “In the first movie, it was better with Edward, and I think [then] it was better with Jacob,” she said. “Was that politically correct?”

Stewart’s “Eclipse” kisses are up against Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Inception”), Emma Watson and Daniel Radcliffe (“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 1″) and Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis (“Black Swan”). Hosted by Jason Sudeikis, the 20th annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday at 9 p.m. ET from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.

Kristen Stewart’s ‘Breaking Dawn’ Wedding Was ‘Magical’

Elizabeth Reaser recalls nerves on set before the ‘Twilight’ ceremony.

WEST HOLLYWOOD, California — There are plenty of scenes from Stephenie Meyer’s “Breaking Dawn” that fans are looking forward to seeing translated to the big screen (and a few we might have to cover our eyes for). But the moment most can’t wait to catch a glimpse of is the long-awaited wedding between Edward and Bella, shot earlier this year as the cast and crew wrapped up years of filming the entire “Twilight Saga.”

Elizabeth Reaser (who plays vampire matriarch Esme Cullen) said it was an emotional moment on the set when Kristen Stewart walked down the aisle as Bella, anticipating her transition from her old life as a human to becoming a member of the vampire Cullen clan.

“Well, the wedding scene was like a real wedding, in that it was stressful. It took a lot of planning, a lot of organization. That was stuff we were all dealing with [and it was like] you were planning a real wedding,” she told MTV News before screening and chatting about “The Art of Getting By” for MTV’s Sneak Peek Week.

“And the nerves … I mean, there was an added element of nervousness when we were shooting it, maybe because there were helicopters and people jumping out of trees with cameras, but it was definitely a heightened couple of days on set,” she continued, alluding to the paparazzi who were stalking the set, hoping to capture the shoot before its official release. “It took several days to shoot, and at a certain point you don’t want to be in a corset anymore.”

In the end, it was worth the uncomfortable clothing and obnoxious press.

“But it was really magical, and vampires aren’t supposed to cry, and that created a real obstacle for all of us vampires,” Reaser said. “Seeing Kristen walk down with aisle with [her movie dad] Billy Burke. I mean, seeing Billy Burke killed me. I understood in that moment what it’s like to be a parent and seeing Kristen and see her really be nervous and see Rob really, really be nervous, and the two of them [together with] the families coming together; it was an emotional day for real.”

Lady Gaga Crashes Billboard With 1.1 Million

Born This Way is the first record since 2005 to sell more than 1.1 million in a week.

We knew Lady Gaga‘s Born This Way was going to crush it on the Billboard 200 charts, the only question was how hard. The answer, it turns out, is very.

Gaga’s relentlessly hyped second full-length studio album easily takes the pole position on next week’s chart with sales of more than 1.1 million in its first week, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, marking the first album since 50 Cent’s 2005 effort, The Massacre, to cross the 1.1 million plateau in a week. Along the way, Born This Way became only the 17th album in the SoundScan era (which began in 1991) to sell 1 million copies in its first week. And though she’s sold more than 15 million albums across the globe to date, BTW marks the first #1 debut for the international pop diva. People weren’t just looking for Gaga’s new one, either. Sales of her debut, The Fame, are up more than 50 percent to 19,000, sending the disc up 20 spots on the chart.

Coming in way back at #2 is the chart debut of Brad Paisley’s This Is Country Music (153,000), followed by the year-to-date chart queen, Adele, whose 21 drops to #3 (only the second time it’s fallen this low in its nearly three and a half months of release), while moving another 126,000 copies to edge toward the 2 million mark.

The fourth spot is the debut of the latest “Glee” soundtrack, Glee: The Music, Vol. 6 (80,000), followed by the Maybach Music compilation, MMG Presents: Self Made, Volume 1 (59,000). The joint boy band album NKOTBSB shows up at #7 (40,000) and the debut from Foster the People, Torches, hits #8 (33,000) thanks, no doubt, to the hit “Pumped Up Kicks.”

The rest of the top 10 includes NOW 38 (#6, 45,000), Jason Aldean’s My Kinda Party (#9, 33,000) and Mumford & Sons’ Sigh No More (#10, 25,000).

“American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery had a promising week, as the digital compilation of his performances, American Idol Season 10: Scotty McCreery, debuts at #12 on sales of 23,000, while runner-up Lauren Alaina’s comp has to settle for a #42 landing (11,000).

Gaga knocked Adele down a notch on the iTunes album charts, taking the lead position and pushing the British soul singer to #2, just ahead of Paisley, McCreery, Foster the People, “Glee,” the MMG Presents compilation, Alaina, Mumford and Blacklight by Christian hip-hopper Tedashii. Adele could not be shaken, however, on the iTunes singles tally, where her smash single, “Rolling in the Deep,” keeps the top position, followed by Pitbull’s “Give Me Everything,” McCreery’s “I Love You This Big,” Gaga’s “The Edge of Glory,” DJ Khaled’s “I’m the One,” LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem,” Bruno Mars’ “The Lazy Song,” Alaina’s “Like My Mother Does,” Nicki Minaj’s “Super Bass” and Jennifer Lopez’s “On the Floor.”

Gaga seems pretty safe for another round, as the week’s new faces include Death Cab for Cutie’s Codes and Keys, Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder’s solo effort, Ukulele Songs, and My Morning Jacket’s Circuital.

‘American Idol’ Scotty McCreery Weighs In On ‘Country Bieber’ Moniker

‘Justin Bieber is the epitome of [a] big star, so it was cool for me,’ McCreery says of his new nickname.

Throughout his championship run on the just-completed 10th season of “American Idol,” Scotty McCreery never really wavered from his country roots … even when he was singing Stevie Wonder.

And while you’ve certainly got to give him credit for playing to his strengths, McCreery’s down-home crooning — not to mention his rather boyish good looks — also earned him a rather bizarre nickname: “Country Bieber.” And while he can laugh at the comparisons, if he’s being honest, McCreery can’t really understand why anyone would equate him to the teen-pop prince. But his fellow “Idol” finalist, Lauren Alaina, certainly can.

“Country Bieber … I mean, Justin Bieber is the epitome of [a] big star, so it was cool for me,” McCreery smiled. “I mean, Justin’s a whole lot further ahead than I am … so, I guess it’s mainly because of our age. …”

“Girls love Scotty McCreery like they love Justin Bieber,” Alaina interjected. “It’s true.”

“Thank you, Lauren,” McCreery laughed. “I just figure it’s because of our age. Me and Justin are pretty much two young guns.”

And with the “Idol” title in the bag, McCreery can now focus on expanding on that whole “young guns” thing … his first official single, the ballad “I Love You This Big,” is already the biggest-selling coronation song since season-seven champ David Cook’s “The Time of My Life,” and he’s beginning to contemplate how his debut album will sound. And, not surprisingly, it’s going to be a country affair.

“It’s gonna be a good ol’ country album,” McCreery said. “I like to have that old flavor in my music, but with a contemporary feel, so we’ll see where that leads me. I think it’ll be a good little mix.”

And if you just can’t get enough of “Love,” well, you’re in luck … McCreery said that you’ll have plenty of chances to see him perform it in the coming months on the American Idols Live! Tour.
” ‘I Love You This Big’ is a great song, it’s done me really well so far,” he said. “And I’ll be singing it a couple hundred more times, so I’m sure you’ll be hearing it,” he joked.

Jack Black, Seth Rogen Offer MTV Movie Awards Advice To Jason Sudeikis

‘Don’t go halfway,’ Black tells the 2011 host before Sunday’s big show.
By Jocelyn Vena

Jason Sudeikis

Jason Sudeikis is mere days away from taking the stage at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, to host the 2011 MTV Movie Awards this Sunday. We’re pretty sure he doesn’t need much advice — since he keeps the audience in stitches week after week as a castmate on “Saturday Night Live” and is bound to have everyone laughing in the summer comedy “Horrible Bosses” — but if he does need some last-minute words, MTV News caught up with some other funny guys to help out.

“Don’t go halfway. Oh here it is: All of the f—ing way,” said Jack Black, who co-hosted the Movie Awards with Sarah Michelle Gellar in 2002. “That should be his mantra.”

Need shorthand for that? Black added: “AOTFW.”

While Seth Rogen seemed to be a little jealous of Sudeikis’ gig, he did have kind words for the host. “I don’t think he needs our advice,” Rogen said, with pal Danny McBride by his side. “I’ve been jockeying for that gig for 10 years, and he got it.”

But what about some more advice from someone who’s been there before? Andy Samberg, who hosted the Movie Awards back in 2009, shared with MTV News some key steps to ensure a successful hosting gig. “What advice can you give to a guy that has it all? Be yourself, grab ‘em by the scruff of the neck and don’t let go,” he advised. “Wear a nice suit. Hydrate. Crunches. Make sure ‘Twilight’ wins everything so the crowd is lively. Rig the results!”

Another former host, 2010 emcee Aziz Ansari, had some different advice for the actor/comedian. “It’s so much work, so definitely have a lot of uppers on hand, like just drugs that’ll get you fired up,” he joked. “PCP is good to stay up all night, get all the work done. It’s a cool thing, though; it’s back in vogue. It’s like Twitter, PCP. It’s like trendy things: Twitter, PCP, Jonas Brothers.”

The 20th annual MTV Movie Awards air live this Sunday, June 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
